Arizona FAQs
Removing transportation barriers to care for Arizonans is our goal as we serve community members in the region.
Onward grows with the help of partners and as we look to expand our healthcare and transit partnerships we’ll expand within the state.

Can I use a Companion Ride for a long-distance trip?

Absolutely! Companion Rides are designed to remove transportation barriers and sometimes that means going the distance. For long distance trips, (+50 miles) we ask that trips are scheduled at least 12 hours in advance. This allows us to coordinate resources.
Do Companion Rides accommodate rural trips?

Yes! While we’re launching in the Greater Phoenix Metro, Companion Rides will be available to rural Arizonans so long as their trip starts or ends in an active service region.
Can I cross the US/Mexico Border with a Companion Ride?

No. Companion Drivers may not transport riders across the US border. Companion Drivers may conduct rides across state lines, but not federal borders.
